I believe that a commercial should evoke emotions, but still keep reality in it. As I am involved in soccer I found that this commercial showed one of the ways a young soccer player can make it to the pro level. Therefore it evokes my feeling that it is possible to become pro, that this is actually the way. The whole commercial shows the life of a pro soccer player, and since soccer is the biggest sport in the world the commercial reaches out to a big crowd. Especially since Internet is so accessible all over the world nowadays.
I also loved the way they shoot his commercial since it really brought the viewer into being in the commercial, which is something Nike is very talented at. They always manage to get the audience to feel involved in what is going on and make them feel as they are a part of what is happening.
Looking at this just makes me wanna get out there and work my ass off, and off course Nike ends the whole thing by their brand name in the whole screen with the words "take it to the next level", which obviously makes the viewer think that Nike products will help them do.
